Tour de France: podium girls 2 -Julie Blanc

Julie Blanc: Maillot Jaune

So the Tour de France finished whilst we were on holiday. A good Tour for British riders with Bradley Wiggins looking like a real contender in the years to come and Mark Cavendish looking like he could be one of the great sprinters of all time.

Clap, clap!

However the really important competition, as ever, was between the podium girls paid by the sponsors to put stretchy jerseys onto very smelly cyclists. More importantly we have to give Triple P's verdict on the podium girls. Some of them, we think, were a bit ropey this year but then the Credit Crunch must even affect how much money you can spend on girls to pose about. Less money, less attractive girls (this applies to other professions too).

Julie without her polka dot dress. Now that's better.

So all credit to French supermarket chain Carrefour for employing Julie Blanc to wear a cute polka dot dress to present the King of the Mountains jersey. I'm sorry, but none of the other girls even came close this year. Model Julie will shortly be appearing on successful French adventure game show Fort Boyard.

Gamine!

Not exactly cyclist's legs!

Julie is a rather towering 5'10" tall and a rather nice 35-24.5-35.5.

Altogether perfect!
